It also doesnt auto-save so when it crashes you're screwed. Completely unintuitive. What in the world is going on with the zoom in zoom out and why is it such as hassle.

In Illustrator it's easy, click alt to zoom out, Affinity for whatever reason I always get errors. The user interface is bad, looks like a slightly more mature version of MS paint. I feel like this is the MS paint of design software. This program is trash. I will say the one pro, the iPad app is a million times better than anything Adobe put out, but that doesnt justify how bad their desktop software is.

It may or may not be as powerful, but it is certainly easier to use by many magnitudes. I've hacked around in illustrator for forever and have found it to be extremely unintuitive.
